Next I busted out some page protetctors and some vis-a-vis markers, (so much better than transparencies because the originals you're copying don't move) and asked my principal if I could borrow one of our old projectors (we have smart products now and don't use the projectors but thankfully someone had the intuition to keep them around). I slid the originals I had drawn on cardstock into the page protectors and copied them with vis-a-vis. After I was done tracing the image onto the page protector I slid out the original and was ready to copy onto posterboard! Taped the posterboard onto the wall and a few seconds later they were ready for some finishing touches (outlining with sharpie markers, adding some color, and lamination).
That will be done later but wanted to blog about the progress. Below are the inspirations to my originals and the originals I created. Check back to see the process and the finished products.
